How to Use the Dr. Mog Q&A Maker
Turn a question and Dr. Mog's answer into a game-style image. Use it for advice, jokes and more. You only need to fill in two things: "Question" and "Answer (details)". If this is your first time, start with "Try a Sample".
Try a Sample
First, let's see what kind of image you can make, using an example.
- At the very bottom of the editor, under "Try a Sample", press Apply Sample.
- When asked "Reset your edits and load the sample?", press OK. The fields are filled with example text, and the page scrolls back up to them.
- Press Create Q&A Image. A new page (tab) opens and shows the finished image.
- When you are done, press Close this page on the result page to go back to the editor.
Using the sample erases what you were typing.
Making an Image
- In "Question", enter what you want to ask Dr. Mog. e.g. Why do I get so many duplicates from Relic Draws?
- In "Answer (details)", enter Dr. Mog's answer. e.g. Do you have any data to back that up?
- If you like, also fill in "Asker" and "Answer (summary)" (both are optional).
- When the message above the fields turns blue and says "Tap 'Create Q&A Image' to make the image.", press Create Q&A Image. The image is made in a new page (tab). The editor stays open, so you can keep editing.
While the message is red, something is still missing. The message tells you which field is empty.
Fields and Buttons
Fields
- Asker (optional)
- The name shown under the asker's icon. If left empty, it shows "Deshi". The icon picture does not change.
- Question (required)
- Shown in the upper speech bubble, starting with "Q.".
- Answer (summary) (optional)
- If filled in, it appears in bold on the first line of the lower speech bubble, starting with "A.", followed by "Answer (details)". A short, punchy answer works well here.
- Answer (details) (required)
- The main text in Dr. Mog's speech bubble. If "Answer (summary)" is empty, this starts with "A." instead.
Line breaks you type in a field also appear in the image.
Message and Buttons
- Input message
- Changes as you fill in "Question" and "Answer (details)". It is red while something is missing, and turns blue when both are filled in.
- Create Q&A Image
- Makes an image from what you entered. You cannot press it until both "Question" and "Answer (details)" are filled in.
- Reset
- After asking you to confirm, clears all the fields.
- Apply Sample
- After asking you to confirm, fills all the fields with example text (steps).
Saving and Sharing the Image
Press Create Q&A Image and the finished image opens in a new page (tab). The image is the same size on computers and smartphones.
- Smartphone: Press and hold the image and choose "Save image" or similar. If that doesn't work, tap the image to download it.
- Computer: Right-click the image and choose "Save image as" or similar. You can also click the image to download it.
- Press Share on X (Twitter) to open the X post screen (nothing is posted just by pressing it). The post contains "#FFRKファンツール" and a link to the Dr. Mog Q&A Maker with the same text already filled in.
- Press Close this page to close the result page and go back to the editor.
The image is not attached to the X post automatically. Save the image and attach it on the post screen.
On Android devices, creating the image may take a few seconds.
Troubleshooting
I can't press "Create Q&A Image"
"Question" or "Answer (details)" is empty. The message above the fields shows which one is missing. Fill in both and the button becomes available.
It says "Deshi" even though I didn't enter a name
When "Asker" is empty, "Deshi" is shown. To use a different name, enter it in "Asker".
I pressed Reset by mistake
A reset cannot be undone. If you made an image before resetting, you can still save it as long as the result page is open.
"Close this page" opened the editor instead
If the browser cannot close the page (for example, when you opened the result page's URL directly), the editor opens instead, with the text you used for the image already filled in.
What happens with long text?
The speech bubble grows taller so all the text is shown. If the text is very long, the image becomes tall and harder to read.
The image doesn't appear, or it says "The image could not be created"
Reload the result page and try again. If it still doesn't appear, try another browser.
